Motorola is entering it’s seventh generation phone with four different series, Moto G7-series. The Moto G series will deliver a better camera, chipset and faster charging. This series will be available by mid-February.
Moto G7 Plus: Clear Photography
The most powerful of the G7-series is the Moto G7 Plus. It’s feature a camera that can take a better picture. It have dual rear camera of 16MP + 5MP for low-light shot. This 16MP sensor has a pixel of 1.22µm, bright f/1.7 aperture.
The camera will also have optical image stabilization for photos, hyperlapse mode for video and plus electronic stabilization. At the front, it have a 12MP selfie camera with portrait and group selfie modes. The 5MP module is a depth sensor for creamy bokkeh in portrait shots.
The AI-powered have features like Smart Composition and Auto-Smile capture to help you take your best ahot. The rear camera is going to record 4K video at 30fps and 1080p at 30/60/120fps.
Moto G7 Plus sports 3GB RAM and an internal storage of 64GB which is expandable to 512GB. It will be run by a Snapdragon 636 chipset, which have four Cortex-A73-derived Kryo 260 Gold cores plus four A53-based cores. The Moto G7 Plus runs Android 9 Pie as Operating System.
This will be the first Moto device to feature new 27W TurboPower charging mode. This makes it to last for 12 hours in 15 minutes of charging. The Plus is going to be compatible with QC4.0 or USB PD3.0 charger. The bad news is that Plus battery capacity is only 3000mAh.
On the display, Moto G7 Plus has 6.2 LCD at the front with a teardrop notch. The phone screen resolution is 1,080 x 2,270px resolution and Gorilla Glass for protection.
To give you an awesome multimedia experience it features a stereo speaker with Dolby Audio plus 3.5mm jack. It also have 5.0 LE Bluetooth with aptX.
The Moto G7 Plus price is officially set at €300. All the G-series will be available by mid-February.
Moto G7 Vanilla
The Moto G7 Vanilla has the same hardware with the G7 Plus but have lesser quality in some aspect. It have the same 6.2 LCD and 1080p+ display. It also sports a battery capacity of 3,000mAh.
It have a rear dual camera of 12MP + 5MP with f/1.8 and 1.25µm. It can record 4K video at 30fps, also 1080p at 30/60fps with EIS and hyperlapse for videos. The front selfie camera is 8MP (1.12µm).
The phone sports Snapdragon 632 but the CPU and GPU dialed down a bit. It have runs 4GB RAM with internal storage of 64GB expandable memory with micro SD card.
Vanilla runs the old 15W TurboPower charging which will last for 9 hours after being charged for 15 minutes. It have P2i water-repellent nano coating like the Plus.
The phone relies on the old 15W TurboPower charging and get get 9 hours of usage in 15 minutes, instead of 12 hours. Like the Plus, the vanilla G7 P2i water-repellent nano coating. The Moto G7 price is €250.
Moto G7 Power: High Battery Capacity
The two Mato G7 series above do not have high battery capacity. The Moto G7 Power have a high battery capY of 5,000mAh which will last for 60 hours on a single charge. It has 15W TurboPower charger that support both QC4.0 or USB PD3.0 charger.
It have a rear camera of 12MP (f/2.0, 1.25µm) and a front selfie camera of 8MP. The rear camera will record 1080p video at 30 fps.
The Moto G7 Power screen size is 6.2 with a screen resolution of 720 x 1,520px. It also sports Snapdragon 632 chipset and 4GB of RAM. The internal memory is 64GB which is expandable by micro SD card.
The Moto G7 power price is €210. It has no water-repellent coating or stereo speakers like the Plus.
Moto G7 Play
The Moto G7 Play features a single 13MP camera at the rear (f/2.0, 1.12µm) that records 1080p/30 video and 8MP selfie camera with LED flash.
This is the most affordable of the four series. Moto G7 Play price is €150 with a display of 5.7″ 720p+.
It is also powered by Snapdragon 632 chipset and it RAM is 2GB. The internal memory is 32GB which is expandable to 512GB. It have a battery capacity of 3,000mAh like the Plus and charge at 5W.
