Nevertheless, Huawei intend to sell this product separately. The MateBook 13 have a nearly identical look to the X Pro but slightly smaller.
The laptop arrives in body design of aluminum in color options like Space Gray or Mystic Silver color. The company also move the webcam location from where it is in the X Pro. The webcam was plaved hidden beneath the keyboard in the X Pro but now Huawei MateBook 13 arrives with a webcam resting above the display. The Matebook 13 measures 0.59 inches (14.9mm) thin and it weight is 2.87 pounds (1.3kg). It is heavier and thinner than the latest MacBook Air. This is quite impressive of a laptop with massive processor and a good graphics.
The laptop also offers a good responsive touchpad and keyboard with many key at 1.2mm and a punchy which is what we need to type very fast. Though the touchpad miss a smooth glass coating, the Microsoft precision touchpad is wide and spacious. This makes it very cool to use.
The MateBook 13 offers a similar touchscreen like the X Pro but the touch is now smaller. The touch is 13 inches on the diagonal and the screen will put out 1440p pictures with 100% sRGB color gamut.
The screen have a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and 300 nits of brightness. This device will offer you an excellent display. However, it use 3:2 aspect ratio for more content to fit on the screen vertically, the implication of this is a thicker bar above and below your screen.
This laptop was made similar to last year flagship we still have to praise Huawei for the job well done.
