Samsung Galaxy A2: Budget smartphone

In a bid to satisfy Samsung phones lovers that cannot buy high-end phone by the company. Samsung is planning to introduce a budget phone that will be affordable for low income earners. The device, Samsung Galaxy A2 Core is going to be power by Android Go Edition with operating system Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Samsung Galaxy A2 Core is going to come in a smooth panel, not that large screen and a average specifications. The phone will be able to perform like the other mid-range devices. Below are the informations we gather about the device

Samsung Galaxy A2 Core Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A2 Core is going to surface with a model number SM-A260F with Android Go Edition OS. The device is similar to the Xiaomi Go that was launch some times ago. It will feature smooth panel and LED flash with a single camera. The logo of the device is placed on the bottom left of the panel. The rumor has it that the phone will arrive in Black and Blue colors.

On the dimensions, it measures 141.6 x 71. 9.1mm and weighs 142 grams. The front area is going to feature PLS TFT LCD panel of 5 inches, it will produces a qHD resolution of 540 x 960 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio. We are not that cool with the display because of the thick bezel on the top and bottom of the screen.

The Galaxy A2 Core has a single camera of 5MP that features f/1.9 aparture autofocus with an LED flash. The device features a Li-Po not battery of 2600mAh battery capacity. The connectivity of the device include 4G VoL, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, micro USB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack.

The device has a low RAM of 1GB and internal storage of 8GB which can be expand with a micro SD-card. On the processor, the operating system is run by Exynos 7870 chipset processor.

The smartphone may be released together with the A series which is scheduled for April 10. We don’t know the official price of this device yet but we will let you know when we lay our hand on any useful information.
