Samsung Galaxy S10 series receive system update

The update for the Samsung Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus is now available for users. The two device receive a update including the one that was withdrawn in March. The Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus and S10 has receive a notification LED next to the flash. This light is going to come on when using Wireless PowerShare. The Samsung Galaxy S10 system update also comes with many fixes.

Wireless PowerShare

The Samsung Galaxy S10e, the Samsung Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10 Plus are all have the Wireless PowerShare. For those that are asking what Wireless PowerShare is, you can use it for wireless charging in reverse.

In case you don’t know how to wireless charge with Galaxy S10, this is how to do it. Place a Qi-certified smartphone on your S10 so that it is charged via the S10. Using this way it can charges itself and a second device. With S10 you obviously don’t need to go around with your second phone charger.

The new update which also include March security update withdraw, the S10 phones camera and the Wireless PowerShare function has now receive improvement.

If you are wondering the type of improvement made on the Wireless PowerShare, it is the light that is next to the flash. The light is going to be on whenever you switch on the Wireless PowerShare via the fast settings.

The light is going to illuminate red when you place a device on it, it will then turns green when the device is fully charged. This will let you know easily that your device battery is full without stress.

The notification light on the Galaxy S10e is not going to discolor while performing the reverse wireless charging. The LED can be regard as tge “Measurement sensor for heart rate” and this improvement is not available for Galaxy S10e.

Other Improvements

Other security update on the devices is going to provide fixes for the 45 issues that Google has fixed in its March patch. As usual, Samsung also add a number of stability improvements and performance improvements, which the notification light is part.

The new security update for the S10e, S10, and S10 Plus comes with the build numbers G970FXXU1ASC8, G973FXXU1ASC8 and G975FXXU1ASC8. All this update are available via the SmartSwitch software and via an OTA update.
